December 6, 2024: So what exactly does the term “Skoal Brother” mean? Well, right around 1979-1982, a football player by the name of Earl Campbell did a commercial for Skoal Chewing Tobacco (Yes, I actually AM old enough to remember when there were chewing tobacco commercials on TV! 😩😩). He ended the commercial by walking towards a female on the beach like a pimp and winking at the camera, “Think I’ll play some touch, Skoal Brothers.” For a kid, that was larger than life! 📺📺🏈🏈
