In case you’re wondering what the big ol’ cheesy smile is for, like Meagan Trainor would say, “I just got paid!” Well…not really. I did, however, just drop my first real NFT collection. Just go to http://www.opensea.io and search “Johnny Nocturnal”, where you can buy a vintage edition of one of my selfies for a mere $1,800. And who wouldn’t pay that kind of moola for a front-row seat to one of my dalliances. I mean, just look at him!
Other than that, I had a pretty good week last week…other than being 😴😴 to death by the NBA Fail…I mean, Finals! Besides the NFT drop, I finally got to cross one more item off my bucket list…and it actually involves a bucket. How ’bout ‘dat!
After years of talking about it, thinking about it, and praying on it, I finally got around to trying to make my own shoes. But like Master Yoda says, “There is no try. Either Do or Do Not!” So I’m getting into the doing part. And the first part of doing anything — the first part of making anything — is TINKERING. And that’s what I’m doing now. I’m tinkering. Like any mechanic or craftsman or engineer, I’m trying to learn about shoes by taking shoes apart and putting them back together. Like so:
I also touched a HEAT GUN for the 1st time in my life…well, ANY power tool, for that matter! And I also posted my 1st ever real video on YouTube.
Oh, and I also made bacon-wrapped jalapenos and hot dogs for the 1st time.
So yeah, I guess you could say it was a pretty busy week. Lotta FIRSTS, huh? Anyway, I hope you are all doing well out there.
