GoDaddy Crud

OK, so I just found out that GoDaddy offers 25GB of hard disk space. That’s because we’re on the Basic Plan ($6/Month). The more you pay, the more disk space you get. Makes sense, right? Now, according to WP for Dummies, we should be wary of hosts that offer UNLIMITED bandwidth (the pipe that carries the data from server to customer and so forth). What’s interesting is that GoDaddy DOES offer unlimited bandwidth (they use the term UNMETERED), not just for the Basic plan, but with ALL of their plans! They’ve got a little disclaimer, though, in the form of a QUESTION BUBBLE above. It states that although they don’t try to LIMIT your bandwidth, they will take steps to hem you up if you ABUSE the privilege. Like say, if you try to create another Napster and you’ve got millions of people sharing music files or something. GoDaddy will either shut down your account or force you to buy a bigger plan. Makes sense, huh?
